Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC)

In April 2005 Her Majesty’s Inland Revenue and Her Majesty’s Customs and Excise, were merged to create HMRC.

HMIC’s remit was extended to enable us to inspect HMRC. HMIC has carried out ten thematic inspections of HMRC.
