Police Performance Reports

HMIC published our assessment of the performance of England and Wales’ 43 police forces on 11 March 2010.

The National Overview tells you which forces are doing well and who could do better. It also looks at areas for future development, especially around anti-social behaviour.

You can see at a glance how each force has performed overall in three key areas of policing in the Police Report Card overview, and see the detailed performance information including forces’ prospects of improvement underlying this in the Police Report Card summary.

You can also look at the crime rate in your area for a range of crimes and see how safe your area is compared to other forces’ areas.
